The Medical clinic in Mahmutlar is literally across the road from the apartments. It is a small day care centre with 2 or 3 doctors. It has one ambulance which is rarely called out.

The Apotek or Pharmacy is next to the hospital and as of 2008 a second Apotek is now open on the ground floor of this apartment building. For minor attention you can ask at the Apotek or Pharmacy who are willing to listen to your ailment and offer something for it. In general medicines are very cheap and prescriptions are not required for antibiotics or other medicines. It is the governments policy to keep the price of medical requirements as low as possible.

However, if you are on extended holiday it is best to bring important supplies with you as not all medicines are available here.
